Beware of the Call for Change
By Jack Nester, Jr.

Change is to: 1) make different or 2) to replace. Change for the sake of change is not necessarily wise. Usually change is desired so someone else can be in control. The call today for "change" clearly embraces socialism, extreme taxation, homosexuality, murder of the unborn, loyalty only to self, global community, government benefits, compromise instead of commitments well as opposition and rejection of Christianity. The majority of members of the Supreme Court are in this category.

The "Change" being presented in all of its sugar-coating and promises requires the rejection and replacement of Christian morals, values and form of government. It involves rejecting our heritage and what was given us by our Founding Fathers … a nation founded on personal faith in Jesus Christ and the Bible as the standard by which all things are judged. As a citizen or alien in America you are not required to convert to Christianity but you are required to follow the government and laws based on Christian principles. All 55 signers of the Declaration of Independence were God-fearing and 52 were unashamedly followers of Jesus Christ!

The battle against evil today is not just overseas as it was in WWI and WWII but on our shores and in the heartland of America. There are brain-washed Christians and intelligent liberals assisting evil to change our nation from Christianity to atheism. In 1776 Patrick Henry wrote, "It cannot emphasize too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionist, but by Christians; not on religion but on the gospel of Jesus Christ. For that reason alone other faiths have been afforded freedom to worship here.

A number of ministers are supporters of "change". They lay aside their righteousness to support the politics of the adversary. It is unfaithful when a Christian votes for a satanic and immoral platform and reflects back-sliding and compromise. King Solomon said, "My son, fear the Lord and the King: do not associate with those given to change for their calamity will rise suddenly and who knows the ruin those two can bring?" Proverbs 24:21-22

America has followed the Lord and been blessed. Why change now? He has been and continues to be faithful! Repent and return (II Chronicles 7:14) That's something to think about!
